Dr. Ana Isabel Meira Rita
Country Manager Sao Tome & Principe
Dr. Ana Isabel Meira Rita speaks fluent Portuguese, English, Spanish, Russian and French which helps her conduct Equinox business successfully in Sao Tome. Dr. Rita obtained her Medical Doctorate at First Moscow M.I. Sechenov Medical Institute, U.S.S.R. and also completed an internship in Tropical Medicine at First Moscow M.I. Sechenov 61 City Hospital. As Country Manager, Dr. Rita is coordinating the Group’s business interest on both islands. Equinox currently has ten (10) staff in Sao Tome & Principe.
Mr. Makoji Aduku
Director Upstream Operations
Mr. Makoji Aduku has 15 years experience in the Energy industry. He is a Geologist and member of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society, Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) and the Society of Mining Engineers (SME). He has worked with major energy firms across the world including Conoco Energy Nigeria Limited, DuPont Nigeria Limited, Shell Petroleum Nigeria Limited and Kragha and Associates in various capacities.
Mr. Aliyu Maccido
Director of New Business Ventures
Mr. Aliyu Maccido has over nine (9) years experience in oil trading. A telecom engineer by training who earned his degree from Kaduna Polytechnic, he brings to Equinox Group a wealth of experience gained from crude oil operations in Nigeria. Aliyu is an alumnus of the College of Petroleum Studies, United Kingdom. His immense knowledge of the working of government agencies in the Gulf of Guinea is an asset to Equinox Group.
Mr. Moses Saromi
Director of Strategic Planning & Capital
Mr. Moses Saromi holds an MBA in General Management from Oxford, United Kingdom, and he is also a member of several professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria. He has over nine (9) years experience in Consulting, Energy, and Financial services in the public sector. Moses has attended numerous courses both home and abroad. He worked with Afri-Projects Consortium Limited, Standard Trust Bank Limited, National Health Service (NHS), Oxford UK and NOP Research Limited.
Mr. Nassir Ali Ahmed
Director of Business Development
Mr. Nassir Ali Ahmed’s 11 years knowledge of the Nigerian Oil & Gas Sector will add value to the group. He takes charge of new business initiatives on behalf of Equinox. He has a diploma in Accounting from Abu Zaria, Bachelors of Science in Accounting from University of Jos and a Masters in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria.
Mr. Muktar Saleh
Director of Public Relations
Mr. Muktar Saleh is a Business Administration graduate from Bayero University in Nigeria. A diligent manager with strong analytical and organizational skills, he has seven (7) years of profound experience in business development, project management and quality assurance. He currently oversees all the company operations in the Nigeria – Sao Tome Joint Development Zone (JDZ).
Mr. Manuel Martucci
Executive Assistant to Chairman
Mr. Manuel Martucci has skills and management experience in various sectors over the past nine (9) years. He will be responsible for the daily communications and logistics pertaining to the Chairman of Equinox Group. Manuel holds an English degree and a post-graduate Master of Arts degree from Puget Sound University, Tacoma, Washington, USA.
