By entering into joint venture agreements with companies based in Asia and Europe, Equinox Energy has acquired detailed knowledge of the E&P sector. We use this knowledge to pursue and harness opportunities in exploration and production.
Equinox Energy Limited is also a determined participant in the Federal Republic of Nigeria government mandate for zero gas flaring by the year 2008 in our marginal field, OML 14 Tom Shot Bank. We are developing alternative gas utilization and distribution facilities with joint venture partners.
The Bight of Benin presently has a high potential of hydrocarbon deposits and is the main area of focus for Equinox Energy.
We are also exploring possibilities in the power sector of the economy and are positioning to construct a 250 megawatts Independent Power Plant (IPP) to meet the demands of the industry in the future.
Equinox Energy invests across the entire value chain, from exploration and production activities to marketing crude oil, products and natural gas. We are looking at investing in coal and power production as well as supply and transmission services.
